When Sterling West was purchased by CRC, Erik focused on Residential Wrap-Up Programs, where he structured more deals than any other individual nationally. Over the years, Erik has specialized in General Liability and Excess Liability Construction placements, creating exclusive products and proprietary coverages for clients nationally and internationally. Today, he is one of the most respected construction casualty surplus lines brokers in the U.S. He has had the opportunity to work with many of the largest developers and contractors in the world and has successfully built a team of underwriting talent, third party vendors and individuals to support the complex deals he specializes in. In 2010, Erik joined RT as President of the Los Angeles office. He leads a team of 60 dedicated professionals focusing on placing the most difficult risks and exposures in the industry. Prior to joining the surplus lines insurance industry, Davis served in the United States Air Force for six years. He was stationed in Colorado Springs, Los Angeles and Aviano, Italy.
